Last year, I finally made it to the Azores. On a perfect, sunny day we made a trip to Princess Alice Bank, which is about a 4-hour boat ride from Pico island - and a well-known spot to dive with resident Mobula rays. During our second dive, this huge whale shark surprised us with a visit - it was my first whale shark encounter and I was blown away by it’s size. I was in so much awe, I almost forgot to take pictures.
